AI & Data Science Solutions Specialist, Asia Pacific

Your Key Responsibilities

• To develop, integrate and test video analytics algorithms like object detection, object tracking and human pose estimation.
• To develop computer-vision powered solutions for smart surveillance and robotics applications.
• To optimize deep-learning based video analytics solutions to create low-complexity solutions for low-cost/low-power embedded platforms.
• To explore sensor fusion i.e., LIDAR + vision/RADAR + vision in order to enhance the perception capabilities for effective scene understanding.
• To explore natural language processing powered solutions for smart virtual assistant.
• Work independently or in a small team with product engineering, and with 3rd parties to drive development and rapid prototyping of new solutions and applications leveraging emerging data science and AI technologies.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelors, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or fields related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, computational analysis or equivalent. Master's or Ph.D. in this field will be of advantage.
• Candidates with outstanding research achievements and experience in leading research organizations in AI/ML will be preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant industry experience in AI/ML research is preferred. Hands-on experience in programming and scripting skills for creating AI based algorithms is required.
• Experience in training and deploying models in production is preferred. Hands-on experience with computer vision/NLP technologies is preferred.
• Experience in deep learning techniques like reinforcement learning, transformer-based solutions is a plus.
• Hands-on-experience in extracting and manipulating data from disconnected databases is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure data engineering tools is a plus.
• Comfortable with research methodologies to address abstract business and production problems with extreme precision; able to gain data-driven insight and support business to move forward.
• Travel will be required to interface with global engineering, systems, and product development teams.
