(Senior) Specialist, Controlling Bearings & Industrial Solutions Japan & Southeast Asia Pacific

Goal of Position

The role requires the incumbent to support the Bearings and Industrial Solutions division across Japan and Southeast Asia by ensuring accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and effective planning. The incumbent acts as a trusted partner to divisional leadership, driving profitability, optimizing working capital, and supporting sustainable growth through sound financial management. 

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage Controlling processes for the Bearings & Industrial Solutions division, including Sales and Profitability, Functions Cost, Working Capital, Investment and Value Added
• Partner with divisional and regional management teams to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Support the month end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and deliver financial analysis at both subregion and divisional levels.
• Coordinate and manage group planning processes such as Budget and Forecast
• Contribute to action plans for profit achievement and support divisional finance projects as required 

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Controlling, Financial Analysis, or Divisional Finance roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams across multiple geographies.
• Proficient in English with strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP ERP systems (EP1 / S4 HANA).
• Positive mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivering results.
