Sustainability & EHS Profess.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Plans and implements programs related to EHS aspects in order to comply with all respective and relevant local regulations and legislations and to achieve the organization's own sustainability goals related to EHS.
• Design and / or implement policies, standards and guidelines for EHS related topics.
• Implement agreed programs to manage respective management systems regionally or locally.
• Plan, coordinate, organize and/or conduct audits including analyses and documentation of findings.
• Provide advice on related subjects and support implementation of sustainable processes and products.
• Cooperate with stakeholders in the organization and/or external auditors, and relate with regulatory and government agencies and associations, on an operational level.

Your Qualifications

• ​​Health, Safety and Environment qualification
• NEBOSH General Certificate (Required) NEBOSH Fire Certificate; NEBOSH Diploma
• Experience of Manual Handling Assessments (Required); knowledge of HSE ART Tool
• Background within medium/high volume manufacturing/engineering environment
• Approximately 3-5years' experience is needed to perform the job at a competent level
• Highly experience in working under own initiative, demonstrating an ability to set & meet personal targets, combined with the flexibility to adjust to workload priorities to take account of new deadlines
• Interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to customer service
• Awareness of wider company issues and relevant legislation. Required to keep informed of changes in legislation and departmental policy to deliver correct advice
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload, maintain confidentiality, and produce/process documents accurately.
• IT knowledge, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP
• A flexible approach to work, along with the ability to work as part of a team
