Your Key Responsibilities
- Project Quality – Enlisting and setting of new gauges & Inspection facilities.
- Leading PFMEA activities for new development part & mitigation of risk associated with new manufacturing processes.
- Review and approving of Control plans, Work instructions & procedures, Inspection standards, Failure catalogue etc.
- Implementation of safe launch /initial flow control for new developed parts by fulfilling safety critical product internal Quality gates & customer requirement to achieve zero defect (liasoning with the SQ / SD Teams)
- Ensuring the timely Preparation & submission of complete PPAP /ISIR including CSR for 4M change management
- In-Process Quality-
- Responsible for smooth processing of supplied parts at in-process inspection & production release as per control plan
- Monitor, review and analysis of all quality KPIs in their manufacturing processes, assembly lines related to parts quality
Your Qualifications
- BE with minimum 12-15 years of experience in the area of Quality Assurance.
- Ability to interact with internal / external CFTs, enforce Schaeffler‘s specific requirements are met and intiate the improvement actions & follow-ups.
- Hands on experinece in working closely with members for tecnhnical / inspection agreements.
- Experience with probelm solving techniques
- Well versed in conducting system, process & product audits at supplier ends.
- Brief knowledge on application base related to the product commodities
- Coversent with 8D methodology,reviews, Quality tools and customer Specific Requirments
- Must have effective communication.
- Should be well-versed with the MS Office Applications.
- Aptitute & ability to train plant level personnel & have good interpersonal management skills.
