Your Key Responsibilities
Formal prerequisites for the position (e.g. training, experience, education etc.) • Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a comparable degree program • Good knowledge in the field of electrical drive technology and mechatronics • Ideally experience in model-based development • Strong ability to analyze complex systems and systematically consideration of physical interface. • Ideally knowledge of functional safety according to ISO 26262 or comparable standards • Team and communication skills • Business fluent English, written and spoken. 3) Tasks (Description of main tasks) • Development of mechatronic systems and components for electric and hybrid vehicles • Determining, analyzing and coordinating customer requirements under consideration of relevant norms and standards • Developing system specifications based on stakeholder requirements analysis. • Creation of system architectures and component specifications in coordination with an interdisciplinary development team • Collaboration in the system FMEA and the creation of functional and technical safety concepts • Definition of application and calibration strategies • Function validation in the simulation, on the test bench and in the vehicle
