Your Key Responsibilities
- To interact with Regional Quality Head - Europe and set-up quality target and policy for Schaeffler India from the group policy, quality concern, quality review and internal strategy and monitor the target.
- Manage and report the quality system status of Schaeffler India to the management team and related group members.
- Coordinate the distribution and application of quality management system and group management handbook in Schaeffler India.
- To plan and coordinate quality audit activities of Schaeffler India (internal and supplier QMS audit, HTSA, process audit, responding customer and third body QMS audit) and follow up for the results.
- To plan and organize quality training for employees of Schaeffler India.
- To lead main quality issues in the form of discussion, suggestion, coordination with BU Automotive Heads, Plant Managers and Quality Managers of Schaeffler India.
To develop and effective application of quality improvement tools. - To Harmonize and promote Integration between quality members in all locations in India by regular meeting, workshop, personal discussion.
To coordinate investigating customer specific requirement and its application to organization.
Your Qualifications
- Qualified Auditor for VDA 6.3 and TS16949 systems
- 15 to 20 years of experience of quality assurance and quality management system in the automotive engineering industry or Corporate Quality
- Good experience in handling customer base for implementing better customer satisfaction
Knowledge of QMS like ISO, IATF 16949, VDA, customer specific requirements etc - Knowledge of Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, Suggestion Scheme etc
- Knowledge of Core Tools (SPC, MSA, MEA, APQP)
Good Leadership & People Management Skill.
Additional Knowledge:
- Exposure of working with Automotive OEM
- Strong problem solving skills
