Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop test rigs, fixtures, and adaptations within timelines.
- Support new product development and research initiatives.
- Operate, maintain, and upgrade test rigs and testing facilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers for fixture design and manufacturing.
- Develop customized test setups for component and system testing.
- Improve existing rigs and ensure uninterrupted operations through proactive planning.
- Document CAD models, drawings, calculations, and lessons learned.
- Maintain compliance with quality systems, safety standards, and 5S practices.
Your Qualifications
- 5-6 years of experience in automotive testing fixtures and test rig development; bearing testing preferred.
- Expertise in CAD modeling (CREO/ProE), GD&T, and fixture design.
- Strong knowledge of machine design, strength calculations, FEA, and material standards.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes (heat-treatment, forging, machining, welding, coating, plating).
- Understanding of testing methods, global standards, and instruments used for testing.
- Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, PLM tools; knowledge of IATF16949/ISO systems.
- Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and communication in English, Hindi, and regional languages.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, project management, and lab operations.
- Location: Talegaon
- Mode: Work From Plant - 5 Days Week.
- Position is on 3rd‑party payroll
