Objetivos de la Vacante

Result-driven manufacturing leader will be responsible for monitoring and supervising a team of leaders, planners, programmers and quality engineers in order to achieve the Tool Room’s objectives and be able to comply with client’s requirements within the areas’ KPI goals. 
The manufacturing leader will be responsible for providing guidance, instruction, training, and leadership skills to inspire the team to perform at their optimum. The main purpose is to create a cohesive team that works efficiently together to maximize the areas’ performance.

Responsabilidades Principales

  • Coordinate all manufacturing activities in Tool Center. Shop Floor is entirely a responsibility of this position.  
    Ensure the performance for operations in tool manufacturing. Detailed machinery status, machining time coordination and follow up, machining hours booking, and  opportune production orders follow up according to customers’ requirements. 
    Track down the real manufacturing status of each order, the information must be up to date and provide relevant data. 
    Coordinate tool manufacturing resources for capacity planning and personnel working hours.
    Constant update for new technologies, manufacturing process and tooling. 

    General Tasks
    Complete domain of the areas’ Management Handbook procedures.
    Coordinate shop floor activities.
    Daily follow up for production orders.
    Update manufacturing status of top projects.
    Cost tracking for manufacturing orders.
    Develop tool manufacturing personnel to increase flexibility. 
    Human resources management in tool manufacturing.
    Support to new projects and products in the plant.
    Assist team leaders with operational procedures.
    Knowledge and optimum management of needed documentation.
    General knowledge about the manufacturing machines, the operations it performs and maintenance basics.
    Understanding of PCR and Budget concepts and how they apply to the area.
    Analysis of the allocations on the area’s cost centers.

    Personnel Management
    Supervise directly to the team leaders and indirectly all the tool makers or technicians. 
    Attend correctly internal employee relation issues with human resources department.
    Maintain positive relationship with employees and all colleagues.
    Follow up on personnel development according to the necessities. 
    Provide support on compliance and EHS requirements for all areas and departments.

5 Years of Experiences on Machining Area or Tool Shop

Spanish and English

Experience with SAP and CAD-CAM Systems
