Goal
Ensure timely and effective handling of quality reports in the area by facilitating the identification, analysis, and resolution of issues to maintain quality standards and promote continuous process improvement.
Principal Activities
- Update and review procedures, work instructions, and inspection forms.
- Assist in ensuring that documentation complies with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other applicable standards.
- Control versions, maintain records, and interpret drawings.
- Conduct inspections of work-in-progress and finished products.
- Complete inspection reports (dimensional, visual, functional).
- Follow control plans.
- Record and analyze data on defects, scrap, and rework.
- Create SPC charts, Pareto charts, histograms, or trend charts.
- Assist in updating quality KPIs.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
- Participate in Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, and Lean projects.
- Assist with root cause analysis: Ishikawa diagram, 5 Whys, 8D.
- Assist with containment, sorting, and controlled rework.
- Presentations on improvement projects.
Education, experience, knowledge, and skills
- Degree: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
- Advanced English.
- Proficient in Minitab
- Management of indicators
- Knowledge of basic quality concepts such as Control Plan, AMEF, and work instructions
- Effective and accurate monitoring of activities.
