Travel Expenses Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities

• Review of Concur expense reports according to travel expense policy
• Sending Monthly Report for Recording Month-End T&E Expense Provision
• Approval of advance payments for travel expenses from locally managed plants and application for registration of employees as suppliers
• Release of unposted reports in SAP using SM35
• Reconciliation of corporate credit card movements of users.
• Reception, control and filing of reports of physical expenses of international travel expenses.
• Review of employee leave report for subsequent cancellation of credit cards.
• Training for local administrators and travelers in Mexico on the Concur Tool, as well as fiscal, legal and company policies and guidelines. Preparation and updating of manuals and procedures.  
• Attention to local travel administrators in the USA/CAD: Generic e-mail control for trips, personal email, sametime, telephone, etc.
• Sending of Cognos Reports (Intelligence CONCUR) requested by the plants in the USA/CAD, of expenses in specific periods.

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience in auditing, with a comprehensive understanding of audit processes and methodologies.
• Solid background in accounting principles and practices.
• Practical knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in English at an intermediate to advanced level, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with accounting guidelines and relevant financial standards.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Key user experience in Travel Administration systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI (Financial Accounting) module.
• Demonstrated work experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in relevant fields

Alternatively, for educational background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Taxation, or a closely related field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
