Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in mechatronic or electronic engineering
- Advanced English - TOEFL min. Score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent)
Experience
- It is essential to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial control systems.
Technical Requirements
Basic knowledge or understanding in some or all of the following concepts:
- Siemens SIMATIC-S7
- Industrial communication buses such as Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet
- Siemens TIA Portal
- WinCC flexible
- Variable frequency drives
- American and European drawing standards for electrical plans
- Knowledge in industrial safety technology, PID control
- Knowledge in robot control (KUKA, Staubli, Epson)
- PLC programming using ladder logic or AWL
Responsibilities
- Electrical design, hardware selection, and creation of electrical drawings for machinery in industrial process automation
- PLC programming and implementation of control instrumentation based on fieldbus and programmable logic controllers
- Development of additional implementations complementary to currently installed systems or automations
- Commissioning of complex machinery and installations at our local plants (Mexico) and with our global clients
