Your Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical , Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
- English - 85% spoken / 95% reading and comprehension
- Experience recently graduated engineer. It is essential to have a minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical design areas
- Experience realizing projects involving generation of electrical plans on EPlan Electric or another digital design tool, and the comprehensive use of components and its symbology
- Basic to medium knowledge on the following engineering topics:
- Industrial safety standards
- Medium and low voltage electrical applications, safety circuits, and precision electronics.
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans made on American and/or European standards.
- Knowledge in ISO, IEC and NOM regulations for electrical design
- Knowledge of electrical assembly
- knowledge of control logic
- knowledge of pneumatics
- Knowledge of Hydraulics
Your Key Responsibilities
- Study, understand and apply the Schaeffler's standard for electrical plans design and deployment
- Understand the business process of special machinery production
- Electrical design of special machinery by means of requirements specifications and realization factibilities
- Creation and delivery of bills of materials regarding electrical designs ensuring there are no omissions and /or information gaps
- Preparing, updating, and archiving electrical design documents
- Designing electrical safety implementations for assessing the machine risk
- Actively and responsibly maintain components data base using SAP and manufacturer number accordingly to the Schaeffler standard
- Understand and perform risk analysis process for new machinery or machinery upgrades, and to collaborate with SMB - Quality department for risk analysis development and deployment
- Carry out safety calculations
- Continuous improvement (MOVE) in the course of work tasks
- Preparation of descriptive technical and electrical calculation report
- Electrical assembly support
- Test, evaluate and propose adaptions and improvements in the context of new product developments to serve market needs
- Check and evaluate possibilities for technical realization of new projects
- Colaborate with the department of technical sales and concepts in the quotation process of new machines/projects
