Goal of Position
- Design, calculation, selection and mechanical layout of sensors within electric motors
- Development of insulation systems within E-motor design, based on systems requirements.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
- Advanced English - TOEFL min. Score of ITP 585 / iBT 90, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent).
Technical Requirements
- Background in Sensors design
- Background in insulation materials for E-motor
- Knowledge of e-motor design
- Applicable engineering & physics knowledge
- Automotive knowledge or background preferred
- Knowledge of the Product Development Process
- CREO software design
- Microsoft office
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design, calculation, selection, and mechanical layout of sensors within electric motors.
- Perform calculations and analysis necessary to ensure proper sensor selection so that the sensor design meets both internal and customer expectations. This includes packagin, mechanical performance, FEA, tolerance stack-ups, VAVE and design for manufacturability.
- Work closely with the CAD and FEA responsible persons within the group as well as engineers in other departments.
- Coordination of customer requirements necessary for insulation design, dimensioning and design of insulation systems and components, based on the systems requirements and the systems architecture.
- Provide geometric inspection of the insulation systems across different projects
