Position Description
- As a Senior Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of complex validation and verification activities across DVP and PVP phases. You will drive technical strategies, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the robustness and performance of our Torque Converters and components under real-world conditions.
Educational Prerequisites
- BS or MS Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering fields.
- Advanced English.
General Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive or industrial environments.
- Advanced knowledge in root cause analysis and systematic problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
- Proactive, self-directed, and accountable with a proven track record of driving results.
- Experience in project leadership, including resource planning, timeline management, and cross-functional coordination.
- In-depth understanding of automotive powertrain systems and component behavior under dynamic load conditions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, coding (e.g., Imc Famos), and automated testing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and refinement of test methodologies, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements and international standards.
- Supervise and guide the execution of durability, performance, and validation tests across different project phases, ensuring adherence to technical and timing objectives.
- Ensure high data fidelity and completeness, including advanced instrumentation setup, test cycle definition, and stabilization criteria to support sound engineering decisions.
- Perform advanced data analysis and interpretation, deriving actionable insights and supporting design optimization.
- Prepare and present high-level technical reports for internal and external stakeholders, promoting knowledge sharing and decision-making.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance in technical execution, documentation practices, and career development.
- Collaborate with global test facilities, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize resources, ensure technical compatibility, and drive continuous improvement in test processes.
