Position
R&D E-mobility - CAE Analyst Hybrid Modules
Support with numeric simulations and structure analysis during the product development process.
Educational Prerequisites
- Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electric Engineering.
- Master degree in Numeric Simulation(Finite Element Analysis, CFD) or related.
- Advanced English - TOEFL min. Score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent).
Technical Prerequisites
- Experience in simulation tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, Simufact, Hypermesh, MATLAB simulink, Fluent, CFX, OpenFoam, Maxwell, MotorCAD, ICEpack, Eagle.
- Experience in fatigue based tools such as fesafe, FKM, FEMFAT.
- Automotive knowledge background.
- Knowledge of the Product Development Process.
- Applicable engineering & physics knowledge.
- Understanding of electric drive architecture concepts.
- Understanding of electric/magnetic fields and their application to electric motors.
- Knowledge of mechanical design and interface with electrical components.
Responsibilities
- Advises staff in all matters regarding FEA, CFD, and other simulation technologies.
- Maintain clear communication with internal customers to advise on design decisions.
- Prepares suggestions and decision-making papers for R&D management to initiate methodological changes.
- Actively participate on internal cross functional teams to consider all aspects impacting design durability.
- Constantly monitors the further development of the area of expertise to keep up-to-date (e.g. Publications, trainings, knowledge exchange through industry associations and R&D partners).
- Applies deep expertise in an engineering methodology in R&D operations and other projects.
