Goal of the Position

Ensure the implementation, compliance and continuous improvement of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Management Systems in order to prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental incidents and impacts, ensure legal compliance and promote organizational culture based on responsibility and care.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an EHS Coordinator
  • Professional competence to coordinate the implementation of EHS activities
  • Knowledge of methodologies for analyzing EHS risks and opportunities
  • Data analysis and attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills to work and perform simultaneous activities

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Address administrative functions including budgeting, suppliers selection, contract, and payment management
  • Indentify hazards, assess risks, and establish effective controls
  • Implement environment, health and safety training programs
  • Promote safe and healthy working conditions
  • Be in charge of the health department (Medical Service) on site
  • Oversee occupational health and wellness programs
  • Minimize environmental impacts and promote sustainable practices
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance
  • Mantain documentation and reports required by the authorities, customers and top management
  • Encourage participation, communication and leadership on EHS matters
  • Promote safe behaviors and practices at all organization levels
  • Manage incidents and emergencies (emergency response plans, accidents investigation, prevent & corrective actions)
  • Drive continuous improvement of the management system (coordinate and conduct internal and external audits, implement performance indicators and improvement actions)
  • Implementation, monitoring, and measurement of Key Performance indicators on EHS matters
  • Support and train senior management on EHS management system requirements
  • Inform senior management EHS issues, KPIs, regulatory topics and other relevants for the management systems.
