Suas principais responsabilidades
- Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade, Finance, Administration and related areas
- Advanced Spanish and English
- Desirable 3 years experience in Customs area
- Knowledge of customs legislation, customs regimes, tariff classifications and free trade agreements
Suas qualificações
- Understand customs practice as well as corresponding legislation
- Act in accordance with current national and international legislation
- Keep up to date with changes in customs legislation and other ones that directly or indirectly impact customs activities and processes and their effects
- Implement security initiatives and risk mitigation strategies inherent to the customs area
- Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation regarding the execution of the tariff classification process, not limited to keeping the tariff classification updated
- Implement, monitor and ensure compliance of processes relating to free trade agreements, customs regimes, special regimes as well as other customs and tax benefits used in customs clearance
- Create and maintain updated customs procedures ensuring compliance by providing trainings to internal areas and strategic guidance based on the current legislation and Company's guidelines
- Develop, implement and monitor internal controls as well as carry out audits of customs processes and activities
- Develop and implement continuous improvement plans, with focus on digitalization and innovation
- Respond to internal and external audits
- Participate in internal and external training, whenever guided or requested by the immediate supervisor, aiming at professional and personal development through technical improvement and updating
