Sus responsabilidades claves

  • Evaluation of free trade agreements, tariffs, duties, taxes and non-tariff regulations as well their impact on the business of Schaeffler
  • Definition and implementation of customs relevant processes, guidelines and documentation
  • Preparation and coordination of processes to request and obtain import permits
  • Preparation and coordination of external audits & Audit Foreign Trade data and documentation
  • Evaluate the current processes based in the Law and corporate guidelines         
  • Support in adapt and monitor the processes according to the Law and headquarter
  • Established the rules and parameters in One Core to avoid penalties into the import/export declaration forms (Tax evasion, no declaration of insurance values, incorrect consignee or supplier addresses & incorrect Incoterms based in the headquarter and Law established
  • Evaluate utilization of IT (One Core) and SAP tools, Excluding GTS-SAP
  • Cutoms Risks Assessment
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with the different departments to continue with the correct control of processes and results.
  • Monitoring the development of new plans and/or strategies to improve established processes
  • Preference Determination Support and Free Trade Agreement Processes
  • Eighth Rule Control and SENER reports
  • Provide legal advice to the internal areas of Schaeffler to align the processes before any external audit on Foreign Trade matters. Including PROSEC requirements for the plants involved.

Sus aptitudes

  • Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Foreign Trade and/ or Customs
  • Solid knowledge of foreign trade laws (Custom law, foreign trade law, Harmonized Tariff Schedule law for imports and exports and its respective set of rules)
  • Understand requirements in terms of free trade agreements and trade treaties
  • Calculation of taxes and application of tariffs and non-tariff restrictions
  • Understanding of industrial production business
  • Knowledge of general rules of foreign trade and customs
  • IMMEX & Virtual operations knowledge
  • Eighth Rule & PROSEC knowledge
  • Knowledge of fixed asset regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Background in Material Resource Planning (SAP-GTS)
  • Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
  • Structured and analytical thinking and communication
