Your Key Responsibilities
- Represent the interests of the division Vehicle Lifetime Solutions by interfacing all stakeholders to ensure targets consideration during task force managed crisis
- Drive and support strategic activities beyond EOP
- Ensure component availability in line with delivery obligations and secure long-term supplies at reasonable costs for OES business by agreements with supplier like End of Life / Long Term / Last Time Buy
- Team up and network with other divisions, purchasing / portfolio and other functions to ensure a smooth and safe transfer of programs
- Define sourcing activities and execute project related purchasing activities (incl. Make-or-Buy analysis) for the respective business unit
- Collaborate with category purchasing (price management and negotiations) to ensure maximum profitability
- Develop best aftermarket strategical fitting supplier landscape
- Generate cost reduction ideas for the business unit OES programs
- Support strategic planning and decision-making processes by providing data-driven recommendations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive market intelligence databases and reports
- Monitor and track industry news, reports, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to keep the organization informed
- Prepare and present detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to stakeholders on market trends, competitor landscape, and key performance indicators
Your Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering or related field
- Proven experience in market intelligence, competitive analysis or a similar project purchasing role, ideally in the automotive industry
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications, ideally proficiency in market research & data tools and software
- Initial experience in project management as well as a good understanding of relevant financial key figures
- Very good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely in English, other language skills would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Valid work permit for the Czech Republic
