Your Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team at Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions. This role is critical in driving strategic initiatives that enhance our market presence and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Potential projects can cover a wide range of functions, e.g. Strategy & Business Development, Operations and Supply Chain, Product Development, Finance and Organizational Development. Preferred previous experiences are end-to-end plant/site construction, Automotive sector, Automation.

• Project Leadership: Manage and lead large-scale, cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholders’ expectations.

• Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, setting objectives, budgeting, and resource allocation.

• Execution Excellence: Oversee project execution to ensure adherence to quality, timeline, and budget requirements. Implement robust project monitoring tools and techniques to track progress.

• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to foster strong relationships and facilitate project progress.

• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating project outcomes and implementing lessons learned into future projects.

• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports for senior management on project status, challenges, and solutions. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

• Innovation and Adaptation: Promote innovative solutions and best practices in project management methodologies, particularly in adapting to the evolving demands of the automotive aftermarket.

• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the automotive, automotive aftermarket or related industries
• Proven track record of leading complex projects with successful outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools and software.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Valid work permit for Czech Republic
