We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Team Leader to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This position will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities in the Quality Department and Shopfloor.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage the team under his/her responsibility.
- Providing information and monitoring indicators daily.
- Lead, supervise and coordinate all quality activities in your sector, the shopfloor.
- Implement quality improvement actions.
- Conduct internal audits
- Have the authority to block or initiate a sorting of parts following a customer complaint or the detection of a non-conformity.
- Maintain the Control plan, inspection plan, work instruction other documents relevant to quality management system.
- Supporting the integration, training and skills development of employees
- Escalate to QA manager issues in related the team.
- Monitor daily scrap performance and conduct root cause analysis for top scrap.
- Support with activities for ZQMP in SAP
- Conduct Exports checks
- Maintain SPC/ procella
- Verification of accredited quality data in SAP
- Be agreeable to work in any station specified by the QA Manager
Your Qualifications
- You have general knowledge of the Quality Management System, in plan reading, measurement techniques, production technologies and products.
- You have in-depth knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
- You are proficient in computer tools (Office Pack and SAP)
- You are recognized for your team spirit, your good interpersonal skills, your strength of proposal.
- You have a sense of responsibility and exemplarity and have managerial skills.
