Set-up Operator

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate and conduct change overs at the Batch Furnaces and Rotary Furnace  

  2. Conduct all relevant start of shift checks and document.

  3. Responsible to make sure that workstation is clean and tidy

  4. Keeping production documents up to date (timesheets etc.)

  5. Operate machine in an efficient an optimal manner

  6. Make minor adjustment under effective supervision

  7. Checking with fixed gauges and/or comparators and/or indicators for dimensional purposes only

  8. Assist in removing and replacing tools (excluding setting up) under effective supervision.

  9. Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor to minimise lost time.

  10. Work according to Standard Operating Procedure(SOP)

  11. Ensure that production targets are met at all times

Your Qualifications

- Grade 12

- Sound knowledge of heat treatment process

- Understanding of quality​​​​​​​
