We are seeking a Quality Technology Engineer to oversee and support key metrology and quality assurance activities within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing measuring systems, supporting product and supplier quality processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Metrology Department activities, including:
- Gauge management
- MSA studies
- Capability studies
- CMM room activities
- Analyse, interpret, and implement new measuring standards and requirements
- Coordinate product change management with regard to quality requirements
- Liaise with internal and external service providers for:
- Manufacture of new gauges
- External calibration services
- Participate in the review and release of supplier PPAP submissions
- Assist in the preparation of internal and customer PPAP submissions
Your Qualifications
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years’ experience in a related field
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, QSA, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), FMEA, and related industry standards preferred
- Familiar with IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001
- Very good knowledge of SAP
- Proficient in English as a working language
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Goal- and results-oriented
