We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This position will primarily be responsible for Employee Benefits Administration & SAP HP1 Data Maintenance, which includes employee onboarding, transfers, promotions and offboarding activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Capture new employee data and maintain employee details in SAP HP1
- Prepare relevant reports, resolve HR administration queries
- Provide employee benefits expertise (retirement funds, medical aid funds, etc.) and information, updates, etc. to employees and all other stakeholders
- Update relevant Employee Benefits Policies & Procedures
- Liaise with benefit funds and ensure cost effective solutions for employees and the company
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding process and digital personnel files administration
- Facilitate sick pay fund administration with MEIBC
- Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility Programme
- Coordinate Employee Events and Employee Gifts
- Process relevant purchasing requests
- Assistant to the Head of Human Resources for South Africa
Your Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent - HR diploma or degree advantageous
- Extensive SAP HP1 Data Maintenance experience including Organisation & Staffing Change, HR Master Data Maintenance and Personnel Actions Maintenance
- Excellent computer skills (MS Excel Advance); MS Word Intermediate, PowerPoint Intermediate, Outlook
- VIP coupled with Time & Attendance experience will be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail/accuracy and good problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of the MEIBC Main Agreement is advantageous
- Teamwork coupled with the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
