Your Key Responsibilities

• Setup, further development and administration of an Infrastructure as Code automation platform
• Development of complex DevOps/automation concepts and scripts for internal IT processes based on Terraform and Ansible
• Creation and maintenance of continuous integration pipelines for Terraform and Ansible using standard tooling (CI/CD)
• Collaboration, consulting and support of application development teams to understand their requirements and help them to set up their own Infrastructure as Code templates
• Optimization of existing infrastructures with consideration to DevOps automation approaches
• Evaluation of new technologies as well as industry trends and shares with the technical community
• Acting as a Infrastructure as Code evangelist in interactions with internal IT customers as part of an central agile cloud team

Your Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field, or akin qualification
• Relevant perennial experience as software developer, system administrator or similar
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Azure Cloud components, their relationships and dependencies, configuration options, and best practices
• Strong experience with one or more configuration management and infrastructure management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef CloudFormation, etc.)
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with IT members across the organization
• Knowledge of database technologies (Azure Synapse, Oracle, MS-SQL, etc.) and data integration methods (ODBC, CDC, ETL) 
• Fluent in English spoken and written, German is also beneficial
• Ability to drive topics and to learn new technologies and skills
• Structured, (self-) organized way of working
