Your Key Responsibilities
To strengthen our global supplier base, we are looking for a senior professional in Supplier Development and Supplier Quality. Depending on your background and experience, this role can be shaped as a hands-on Engineering role or as a Managerial / Lead role with broader responsibility.
This position offers international exposure, strong technical depth, and real decision-making authority in supplier-related topics.
Your responsibilities:
- Technical expert for external manufacturing processes (machining and/or forging)
- Conduct process and supplier audits (VDA 6.3)
- Analyze supplier manufacturing processes and drive improvement actions
- Lead supplier development programs on a technical, shopfloor-oriented level
- Support and lead task force activities in escalated supplier situations
- Close collaboration with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Operations
- Support negotiations of quality-relevant supplier documentation and agreements
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality, performance, and risk management
Your Qualifications
- Background in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering
- Solid technical understanding of machining and/or forging technologies
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- VDA 6.3 Process Auditor qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical and structured working style
- Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally (up to approx. 50%)
Experience in the following areas is welcome:
- Strategic development of the global supplier network
- Functional leadership and coordination of regional supplier development and quality teams
- Define and steer supplier development programs on a global level
- Lead international escalation and task force activities with decision authority
- Represent supplier quality and development topics in cross-functional and management forums
Our Offering
Min. 2100,- Eur gross/monthly. Final offer depens on previous experience
