Your Key Responsibilities

  • analyzing costs associated with the development of mechatronic systems 
  • analyzing the cost structure using the "should cost" method
  • assessing technical specifications and identification of potential costs savings
  • optimalization towards reduction of capital or investment costs
  • proposing appropriate technical solutions and recommendations with regard to costs
  • communicating the costs associated with procurement and cooperation with third parties
  • regular reporting of activities leading to costs reduction

Your Qualifications

  • master´s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, electronics or another related field
  • English - both written and spoken command
  • German - advantage
  • experience in the development or production of mechatronic equipment in the automotive industry for at least 2 years
  • knowledge of automotive markets and supply chains
  • knowledge of: chipping, precision machining, heat and surface treatment, forging and high-pressure die casting technology, electrical and thermal dimensioning, electrical design, electromagnetic compatibility, semiconductors and ISO 26262 are an advantage
  • experience in a similar position is an advantage
  • good analytical skills
  • ability to interpret results and design appropriate solutions
  • assertiveness

Offered salary

1700-2300€/month - candidate seniority will be considered in the offer
