Cybersecurity Analyst

Your Key Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Incident Responder is responsible for responding to and investigating security incidents across a variety of platforms and environments. This role will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

• Monitor security systems for signs of intrusion or breaches.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, including conducting initial analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage and resolve incidents.
• Develop and implement incident response protocols and procedures.
• Conduct post-incident analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of security practices.
• Derive activities to improve of the security level of the Schaeffler IT infrastructure 
   

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in incident response or related cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of networking, system administration, and security technologies.
• Familiarity with forensic analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent command of English language.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Preferred Qualifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, GCFA)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms 
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EDR tools
