Your Key Responsibilities
To ensure proper closing of every shop order for financial accounting and variance reporting accuracy.
- Controls the ordering processes and bookings, in order to ensure manufacturing of products as agreed upon in the order freeze.
- Ensure manufacturing of products as agreed upon in the production order closure.
- Ensure capacity based on rolling planning (labor, machines).
- Refine sequencing on machines on shift basis.
- Check whether production orders are correctly booked and if order is in accordance with current delivery.
- Overview the costs of an order in terms of quality.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or equivalent
- Analytical skills to determine best way to satisfy customer needs
- Ability to control flow of goods throughout the manufacturing process
- Ability to foresee potential shortages of material needed and follow through with corrective actions
- Excellent communication skills with the shop floor, warehouse, and sub-contractors
- 3 to 5 years' Purchasing
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Experience with production orders, inventory, planning
- Relevant experience in inventory control
- 3 to 5 years experience in Production Planning
