Purchasing Coordinator

Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Identification of suppliers on the Turkish market according to the SCHAEFFLER Group's needs;
  • Ensure preliminary communication with the selected local suppliers by sending the necessary documents (NDA, CoC) for further collaboration;
  • Issuing price quotation requests to the chosen suppliers;
  • Follow up on RFQ requests and address any clarification needs;
  • Collaborate with divisions, business units, and purchasing plants in Europe regarding the management of local suppliers;
  • Visit the suppliers together with colleagues from the divisions, business units, and subregion.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related fields;
  • Min 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or supplier management (internship experience acceptable);
  • Basic understanding of RFQ processes, cost drivers, and supplier communication;
  • Ability to Read and Interpret Basic Technical Drawings;
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and platforms such as SupplyON is an advantage;
  • Strong communication and coordination skills;
  • Good command of English (written & spoken);
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn international purchasing processes.
