Your Key Responsibilities

The Specialist / Engineer– Quality Systems: QM-PEP is the Sub-project Management Specialist responsible for Quality within mechatronic projects.  S/he ensures the readiness of quality processes, investments for quality topics, mass production tooling and gaging as per project targets as well as the readiness of associated quality documentation. S/he will lead all the quality team tasks, reporting and communication for the project and ensures that our processes, and systems are in compliance with customer and Schaeffler requirements and standards. The QM-PEP is a principal contact to the customer for Quality topics in the development, prototype, and production planning phase of the project.  They are responsible for coordinating efforts in regard to the Schaeffler Quality Operating System and AutomotiveSPICE® process assessment model (PAM) 3.1.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently
• Strong project management skills preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Goal and results oriented
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of AIAG manuals (PPAP, APQP, QSA, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process control (SPC), FMEA) and related industry standards preferred
• Familiar with IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 preferred
