Aspects
- Technical responsibility for the functional development of fully variable valve train systems
- Development and evaluation of technical concepts and solutions based on measurements, simulations and prototype systems
- Definition of requirements in coordination with the customer and internal departments (system integration, system calibration and software development)
- Documentation of functional requirements and creation of the system architecture with a focus on the control system
- Responsibility for OBD functionalities
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies in vehicle, electrical or control engineering or mechatronics
- Relevant professional experience in the field of combustion engines and engine management
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of thermodynamics, combustion strategies, OBD requirements
- Experience in the system development and validation of engine control systems
- Skilled in dealing with customers and business fluent in written and spoken German and English
- User knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, INCA and common automotive bus systems
- Confident handling of development processes such as ASPICE
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Analytical thinking and an independent way of working as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
