Corporate Events Professional (m/f/d)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Consulting, strategic content conception, planning and implementation of global corporate events in virtual, hybrid and real formats
• Development of new event formats to make the brand tangible
• Further development of existing event concepts with focus on the strategic corporate orientation of Schaeffler, e.g., customer events
• Consulting of internal stakeholders, in particular Executive Board for consistent brand appearance at events
• Independent planning, implementation, and coordination of supporting service providers of all kinds, including participant management (e.g., list of participants, communication assets to the participants), as well as control of internal project participants (e.g., technical services, IT, purchasing)
• Innovation driver for the constant further development of the event sector for competitive differentiation
• Management of cross-divisional and interdisciplinary project teams including top management, sales department and further cooperation partners
• Project administration, documentation and (cost-) controlling including coordination of steering committees, preparation of recommendations to the Executive Board and KPI controlling
• Establishment of a global network and platform to research top-class speakers and moderators for different formats
• Provision of consulting and training for internal facilitators, including a platform
   

Your Qualifications

• Academic degree (Business Studies with focus on event management, marketing or equivalent) or alternatively appropriate further educational training.
• Several years of professional experience in or with large companies in event management and marketing on international level and/or sales departments
• At least 7-10 years of professional experience in project management
• Experienced application of artificial intelligence tools
• Knowledge of project management methods for efficient project steering and monitoring and “state of the art” event project management tools
• Knowledge of project portfolio management, resource management and similar topics
• Well-developed soft skills (communicative, team oriented, goal oriented, ability to handle conflicts and criticism)
• Very good knowledge of English and German, further languages appreciated
• Ability to work under pressure and a high level of commitment and motivation
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Confident appearance with excellent communication and presentation skills
