Your Key Responsibilities
- Development of analytics applications for Schaeffler business functions and Schaeffler customers based on stakeholder requirements
- Development of analytics applications with a focus on advanced analytics (e.g. Machine Learning applications; complex descriptive analytics)
- Specification of analysis / prognosis goals in collaboration with business colleagues
- Collection, integration and preparation of necessary data (data modeling)
- Explain complex analyses/models/results to business colleagues
- Development of standardized KPIs, reports and dashboards for different business colleagues
- Responsible control of projects from scoping to setup and maintenance of the analysis / forecasting procedures
Your Qualifications
- University degree in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Economics is required
- Several years in the field of data science, analytics desirable
- Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, methodologies and applications are required
- Experience with SQL and Data Science language such as R or Python
- Basic Software Development and solid Project Management Skills
- First experience in data modeling and business use cases modeling
- Experience with BI Tool (Power BI) desirable
- Experience with MS Office and SAP incl. Business Warehouse, Microsoft Azure and/or machine learning are a plus
- Fluent in English, German and further languages are advantageous
- Affinity and understanding of IT systems
