The Automotive Aftermarket division is responsible for Schaeffler's global spare parts business. With innovative strength, technical expertise, and the highest product quality, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket is the trend-setting provider of repair solutions and services for internal combustion engines, hybrids, and electric vehicles and prepares the independent aftermarket for the technologies of tomorrow.
We offer a hybrid working model that combines regular office presence in Frankfurt am Main with home office.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Elicitate, document and validate business requirements. Identify business and technical dependencies
- Define user stories and prioritize product backlog in alignment with business stakeholders
- Define a clear vision and derive an aligned roadmap for responsible applications
- Manage (external) software development teams and vendors for successful software releases, and deployments
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that product requirements are understood, and that deliverables align with expectations. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure responsible applications are aligned with legal and organizational requirements (e.g. GDPR, Security by Design)
- Ensure qualitative deliverables through adequate Quality Assurance
- Coordinate product launches in coordination with other teams to ensure successful go-to-market strategies. Prepare necessary product documentation, training materials, and support resources
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics post-launch. Collect feedback and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement and address any issues promptly
- Support DevOps processes to ensure value delivery and proper functioning of responsible applications over the whole lifecyle of the applications
- Collaborate closely with our Business Stakeholders
- Ensure that Budget and Time constraints are met
Your Qualifications
- Successfully completed international studies in e.g. business administration, information technology, (software) engineering or comparable education
- Several years of international professional experience, preferably in a management consultancy, technology company, digital agency or similar job
- Several years of experience in software development or implementation of digitization projects
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, etc.
- Experience in requirements documentation and dependency identification as well as definition of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
- Experience in Software Testing Processes
- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, specifically with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud is necessary
- Good understanding of enterprise integration, and the specific challenges related to interacting with complex ERP environments is very beneficial
- Fluent in English, basic german skills are beneficial
