Your Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Process orders from key accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Coordinate with leadership, demand processing, pricing, production, logistics, transportation, sales, and other departments to fulfill customer requirements
- Provide regular updates to key accounts regarding order status, product availability, and any changes that may affect their orders. Communicate proactively to manage customer expectations
- Identify and resolve potential issues, working with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs
- Prepare and present regular reports on key account activities, performance metrics, and customer feedback to management
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in products, services, and processes. Work with relevant departments to implement improvements
- Develop an understanding of key accounts' businesses, their expectations, needs, and how our products and services can best support their goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with key accounts, including inquiries, orders, and resolutions using various systems and software applications, including customer portals
- Maintain proficiency in basic product nomenclature
Your Qualifications
Minimum:
- Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Three (3) years Customer Service experience in an industrial product distribution or manufacturing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and supply chain processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Poweroint), with the ability to read and analyze reports
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five (5) or more years Customer Service experience in an industrial product distribution or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in SAP ERP software
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Service Console software
