Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Apply Lean methodologies to drive operational improvements across Schaefflers automotive plants in the Americas.
  • Execute Lean transformation strategies, including value stream mapping, 5S, visual management, standardized work, and continuous flow.
  • Partner with departmental leaders to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement.
  • Facilitate Lean workshops, training sessions, and Kaizen events to engage employees and promote problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure progress toward Lean and operational excellence goals.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop data-driven solutions.
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Your Qualifications

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
  • 2+ years of production engineering or related experience.
  • Experience in workshop moderation, facilitating Lean workshops, training sessions, and Kaizen events to engage employees and promote problem-solving and teamwork.

 

Preferred

  • Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results.
  • Experience of working in a high-paced automotive manufacturing environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions.
