Your Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of global supply chain strategies for future growth and optimization.
  • Control regional supply chain costs to maximize revenue and efficiency.
  • Provide regional oversight and strategic leadership for operating systems supporting Customer Service, Production Scheduling, Inventory Planning, Shipping, Receiving, and Transportation departments.
  • Compile and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on regional supply chain performance.
  • Assist regional plants in effectively managing bottlenecks and operational constraints.
  • Participate in plant-level regional consensus meetings.
  • Optimize regional forecasting processes to align with business objectives.
  • Report on key regional supply chain indicators, such as inventory levels and freight costs.
  • Monitor overall regional inventory, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement concepts to improve regional material flow.
  • Coordinate regional supply chain activities for seamless operations.
  • Develop comprehensive long-range and short-term production plans utilizing the Schaeffler MRP system.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles throughout regional operations.
  • Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally for extended periods as required.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of QS9000 and TS16949 quality systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in logistics and planning
  • Experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive or industrial environment required, with working knowledge of OEM EDI systems
  • Thorough understanding of MRP, Pull Production, JIT, KANBAN, and 5S principles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and shop orders
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship
