Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new mechatronic products including concept generation, product design, and product launch with a focus on embedded rotary and linear actuators
  • Optimize designs for volume production
  • Solicit and manage customer requirements
  • Test and validate new products
  • Work with suppliers to identify new technologies and components  
  • Create benchmarking studies comparing Schaeffler products and competitor products

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering  or equivalent industry and technical experience
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Basic understanding of microelectronics
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Discipline and creativity in applying skills to work assignments and projects.
  • Minimum supervision necessary in solving complex engineering problems
  • 3-D CAD experience
