Job Overview
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the Fort Mill 3 Campus to help ensure efficient daily operations, timely communication, accurate purchasing and financial records, and effective coordination of assigned facility services. The role supports management and designated teams through office administration, visitor and correspondence coordination, timekeeping and travel support, Electronic Purchase Request (EPR) and Purchase Order (PO) administration, procurement forecasting, supply coordination, and other assigned administrative activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide responsive, autonomous administrative support to assigned teams and management while organizing priorities, communications, meetings, and records.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for visitors and general inquiries and facilitate timely information flow among internal departments and external parties.
- Process and maintain accurate EPRs, POs, purchasing records, procurement forecasts, and supporting documentation for the Fort Mill 3 Campus.
- Coordinate assigned facility service providers, operating supplies, service requests, and related administrative follow-up within Schaeffler's area of responsibility.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional representation, accurate documentation, and timely escalation of issues requiring management attention.
Your Qualifications
- Associate degree in a business-related field, or high school diploma with applicable experience, will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional demeanor with the ability to represent Schaeffler in all settings
- Demonstrated discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong organization, attention to detail, recordkeeping, and follow-through.
- Ability to coordinate multiple administrative activities and work effectively with internal departments, shared services, suppliers, customers, service providers, and authorities.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without any visa sponsorship
