Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform the month-end, quarterly, and yearly close for assigned organizational units including general ledger account analysis and journal entries.
- Prepare and review the analysis/ reconciliation of general ledger balance sheet accounts and performs advanced accounting activities for assigned organizational units.
- Analyze, prepare, evaluate and report financial results for accountable management on a regular basis.
- Implement and utilize accounting-related guidelines and procedures and propose adoptions if necessary.
- Prepare financial statements ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting data.
- Support assigned responsible Finance/Accounting Management in analyzing accounting data.
- Consult with Managers on subject matter queries.
Your Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Solid understanding of financial accounting functions including IFRS and U.S. GAAP principles
- Experience performing the month-end close process
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving/ analytical skills
- Self-motivated, able to achieve results in a fast-paced environment
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred:
- Prior SAP experience
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting
- Master's Degree in Accounting or related field
