CNC Machinist Apprentice

Your Key Responsibilities
- Complete 7,000 hours between the College Program and on-the-job training (OJT) in our manufacturing facilities
- Operate and maintain CNC, lathe and mill
- Inspects tooling for damage or wear after production
- Makes major repairs to tooling
- Completes minor tool optimization projects
- Maintain complete and accurate records on tooling as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follows all safety rules and practices
- Follows all quality procedures
- Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices including 5-S standards
- Successfully complete, to the Company’s specification, courses of study required for the Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology
Your Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of the Compass Placement Test (required for school admission)
- Ability to move or lift 35 pounds
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
