Product Design Engineer (Tensioner, Clutch and CRS)

Your Key Responsibilities
- 01. Bench marking of componets (Clutch & CRS) from market and understand product requirement
02. Design of Clutch & CRS parts according customer/bechmark requirements by considering internal and
international standard
03. Focus on standardization of component while designing for new projects
04. Perform required design calculations, FEA, Simulations etc.
05. Prepare product drawings (assembly/componet) in 2D/3D format according to internal standard
requirement
06. Prepare necessary design documents such as FMEA, design reports, ECN, BOM,.. etc
07. Lead the product development process of respective projects (including bench marking, product
design, prototyepe and validation) co-ordinating with internal and external customer's/supplier's
08. Participate in required customer/supplier meetings and vehicle fitment trail's
09. Participate in failure analysis / RPA activity and support with necessary inputs to resolve
10. Analyse and approve special release together with QA
11. Support cost saving projects, analyse technical proposals and change product if necessary
12. Support and co-ordinate for componnet localization activity
13. Consider new technologies and product innovations relevant for AP market
14. Follow Schaeffler complains guideline
15. Record lesson learns and discuss with relevant teams & apply wherever possible
Your Qualifications
- 01. Education : Bacholer of Engineer (Mechanical/ Automobile)
02. Working experience of min. 3years
03. Languages Skills : English (Mandate) and any AP language beneficial
04. Strong technical background in clutch system design for passenger/commecial vehicle
05. Co-operative working attitude with strong target orientation - 06. Software knowledge of ProE/Creo/ANSYS/Windchill/SAP
07. Good understanding of manufacturing process knowledge such as Stamping, Heat treatment, Casting,
Machining, Injection moulding,..etc
