Logistics & Customs Clearance - Inbound & Outbound Supervisor

Your Key Responsibilities

• STRATEGIC/TACTICAL:
• Oversee the transport and custom operation handing for Thailand's operation to cover all the inbound and outbound daily operation. 
•  Conduct and lead the RFQ process in transportation and custom brokerage services with Business Division's input. Prepare all the required documents for the RFQ process such as review main contract, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Ensure the proper Transport implementation for every Global Ocean, Air, CEP and local provider changes to ensure smooth transition and operation.
• Manage and monitor the overall Transport cost between the actual and budget figures and look into the rectify action in order to achieve the allocated budget.
• Process ownership for the Transportation and Custom Brokerage related processes and work instructions.
• Key person to take care of the Logistics Service Provider KPI monitoring performance review meeting and initiate the follow up countermeasure to ensure target achieved.
• To provide the KPI data and report to management level when required.
• Functionally lead the Transport team in different Business Division for all the transport & custom related topics. 
• Key person for Global or Regional to start a new project or new ystem implementation that relate to transportation such as Transportation Management System (TMS), Integrated Freight Tracking (IFT), etc.
• To review and propose the best optimasation for Thailand's transport and custom brokerage handling.
• Cooperate with Customs Strategy and Plant Logistics to comply with the cost savings strategies on import and export process with the privilege program of BOI, FTA and others.
• Periodically optimisation of Thailand's transportation scenario which align with the strategic business requirements such as optimisation of milkrun delivery.
• Key person for the internal and external audit which link to the Transport and custom related topic.
• Monitor and ensure the performance of Logistics Shared Service Center to perform the task according to the KPI without failure.

• OPERATIONAL:
• Ensure incoming shipments (from group and 3rd party suppliers) are coordinated & delivered in a timely manner (receiving in the SMT Production Plant is responsibility of Plant Logistics).
• Ensure outgoing shipments (from trading warehouse to customers and distributors) respectively are coordinated, received and delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure strict compliance with SOPs is adhered to all areas of appointed Logistics Service Provider & Customs brokerage operations to meet agreed KPI/SLA agreement.
• Imports: Ensure inbound delivery dates are maintained in SAP centrally for all Thailand trading & plant operations and any delays addressed with forwarders.
• Exports: Ensure adequate pre-booking of export cargo is made with Forwarders to ensure no delays in service & share with SMT Production Plant Logistics & CS for operational outbound readiness.
• Transit Time maintenance & schedule: Regular review to ensure proper setting of import transit times by suppliers and SAP CPS scheduling settings for outbound from Thailand.
• Update all transport complaints in Q module for PPM KPI tracking, coordinate and follow up on reported complaints, initiate appropriate counter measures where necessary with internal stakeholders, freight forwarder and insurance.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related fields.
• Experience in managing in the Logistics Service Provider.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, multi task handling & team player.
• Good SAP overview with transactional knowledge in MM/IM modules.
• Good command in English (communication, write and read).
