Logistics & Customs Clearance Executive - Inbound (Contract)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Ensure incoming shipments (from group and 3rd party suppliers) respectively are coordinated, received and delivered in a timely manner.
• Operationally support all related day-to-day order handling and processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with warehouse, freight and transportation providers, customs broker in all areas to enable operational effectiveness for a continuous order handling and order management (inbound and outbound processing functions in SAP – MM, WM, and SD modules).
• Work closely with customer service, sales, marketing, warehouse and customs broker to achieve overall company objectives.
• Ensure on time delivery (pick up, ETD, ETA, customs clearance) and be able to track the report with the accurate output.
• Timely updating of shipment information in SAP – MM & WM module and proceed customs inward clearance handling and monitor on time arrival of cargo with timely GR posting.  
• Be able to verify and analyse the transit time causing transportation delays in order to define corrective action.
• Verify all freight invoice, Customs documentations, and all transportation invoice with the 100% accuracy, maintain complaint in SAP relevant to quantity discrepancies and transportation issue to suppliers and follow up on feedback to close QM complaint with accuracy action taken.
• Supplier invoice, Freight invoice, Special Freight, Tax, import entry and Duty cost verifying and tracking and handover data with Finance.
• Collect all billing documents and submit to accounting department.
• Internal coordinate with Intercompany shipper, Logistics/ warehouse, Accounting Department.
• Transportation Planner, Schedulers, Packaging Development regarding all logistics shipment arrangement.    
• Support document preparation for inbound and outbound shipment.                                                                                                                        
• Arrange the escalation point for resolution of transport delays.
• Be able to apply the FTA or any privilege with high accuracy.
• External coordinate with 3 rd party shipper, Logistics/ warehouse service provider, shipper all logistics shipment arrangement.
• Other tasks related to his/her duties assigned by supervisor.

Your Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in a related field - e.g., logistics and transport management, supply chain management.
  • SAP knowledge in Relevant working experience in order management i.e. handling of transactional postings for GR (goods receipt) and creating of billing documents in SAP MM, WM module and return process.
  • Good knowledge Microsoft office – Excel.
  • Familiar with basic logistics terms (incoterms, freight modes, inventory, FTA, BOI).
  • Working experience in Freight Forwarding industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to fulfill time-critical tasks on time, keep to schedules and deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with personnel from all levels.  
  • Good speaking and written in English.
  • Organized, detail-oriented with data record, documentation task filing, customer service presence.
  • Network Modelling software / project experience an advantage.
  • Works well in teams and individually in accomplishing goals.
