Your Key Responsibilities
- Build up Regional long-term Framework, Digitalization and Risk Management Strategy in accordance with Global / Regional Strategy
- Strengthen and active development of existing Steering Committees (e.g. Regional Sourcing Councils, working capital, financial risk, etc..)
- Participate actively with the Purchasing AP team during Budget (Material, HC/OHC)
- Development, Implementation and Supervision of Global Reporting Guidelines and Tools
- Steering of activities for Risk Management
- Design and Optimization of global Purchasing Processes in the region
- Implementation of global and regional Purchasing Processes in the Region
- Conduct layered audit to verify that the systems and tools are properly being used before external / internal audits
- Implementation of global Systems and Tools according to aligned schedule
- Conception of regional solutions in accordance with Headquarter systems
- Supervision of activities for usage enhancement and improvement of standard SAP system in the Region,incl. SAP rollout projects
- Supervision of activities for usage enhancement and improvement of E-Procurement solutions (SupplyOn,SRM, E-auctions) in the Region
- Implement yearly training and development plans for Purchasing and cross functional departments according to the business needs
- Support any additional task given by the Regional Head of Purchasing Strategy & Strategic Supplier Management
- Organize regular benchmarks visits to other companies / Schaeffler regions
- Develop Market strategies based on market directions ensuring that Schaeffler purchasing is placed to mitigate market movement and take a strategic stance in MYP
Your Qualifications
- Graduate Degree Business Administration, Engineering, General Law
- Work Experience: 7 to 10 years
- Previouse experiences within Corporate Environment
- Previous Experiences within Procurement or Purchasing
- Good experience in leading cross-functional / cross-culture teams.
- Strong commitment to business targets.
- Capable to manage complex projects.
- Good strategic thinking.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication skills on an international basis.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong intercultural experience and sensitive to cultural difference
