Your Key Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the quality, cost, and on-time realization of the purchasing scope within the SMB project business at the SMB location. Safeguarding the SMB business risk regarding purchases within the project scope.
- Ensure supply within the SMB projects at the SMB location while maintaining process conformity incl. all necessary process steps of sourcing & procurement
- Define sourcing activities and execute project related purchasing activities (incl. Make-or-Buy analysis) for the respective business unit / product line.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers & service providers and document negotiated conditions, capacities & contracts with suppliers for specific project demands
- Identify optimization potential regarding supplier and service providers, as well as performance improvement potentials of individual suppliers
- Cooperate closely with interfaces along the supply chain and execute change management in projects.
Your Qualifications
- Business studies with technical knowledge or technical studies with business knowledge or a degree in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering
- Broad technical know-how and understanding
- Strong project management skills and customer orientation
- Strong communication skills, willingness to change and ability to think outside the box
- Negotiation skills
- Strong leadership skills in dealing with suppliers
- Business fluent in English
