Your Key Responsibilities
Proficiency in blue print reading, shop mathematics, measuring instruments, and basic pc skills (Microsoft Office programs preferred).
Your Qualifications
- Use and communicate complex drawing specifications and nomenclature.
- Set up and operate inspection gages and measuring instruments to determine disposition of tooling.
- Use pc to obtain additional geometry for inspection of tooling.
- Use pc to input data into shop scheduling system.
- Interface with customers, tool designers, engineers, outside suppliers for problem resolution.
- Assist toolroom mgr. in various projects as required.
- Perform periodic maintenance of equipment as required.
- Manage calibration of measuring instruments and gages.
- Package and ship tooling as required.
- Insure compliance with all safety and housekeeping regulations.
