Your Key Responsibilities

1. Recognize and decode construction plans, all relevant drawings and work orders, in cooperation with the team.

2. Ensure availability of material parts and resources needed to accomplish own assignment.

3. Prepare all relevant tools, machines and parts according to the defined sample plans, produce and/or assemble series of parts, components, products, systems or tools.

4. Perform sight checks, functionality or quality test routines, and take over respective documentation.

5. Support and cooperate with accountable Project Manager or Engineers in the analyses of samples.

6. Preform start up and shutdown of all equipment which includes taking the equipment to a cold condition, start up after power failure, and placing the equipment in burnout mode.

7. Ability to work with the metallurgy team to determine metallurgical issues related to microstructure, case depth, and hardness and make the necessary adjustments on the equipment.

8. Complete MOC (Management of Change), PSM (Process Safety Management), PSSR (Pre Safety Start Up Requirement)

9. Complete TUS's (Temperature Uniformity Survey) and SAT's (System Accuracy Test) if necessary

 10. Restart equipment after a power failure - which includes turning gas lines off/on, reset of electrical heat breakers, restarting/stopping all in-line equipment

11. Process development work including developing new heat treat process for production components Position Description

12. Complete chemical checks and adjustments for washing, quenching, and finishing equipment

13. Complete required daily checks and review electronic data/alarms to meet CQI-9 requirements

 

Your Qualifications

• High school Diploma or Equivalent

 • Prefer 3-5 years working in a manufacturing environment operating and setting up machines, troubleshooting, basic maintenance and problem solving skills

• Prefer technical certification or 2 year degree

• Prefer experience working with various computer interface systems such as Siemens HMI's, Honeywell Controllers, MS-Office
