Machinist III - Plant 5 - 2nd Shift

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Define machining sequences and production work orders 

  • Assemble and prepare tools and equipment for further usage during the production process 

  • Prepares, completes and installs tools and/or clamping devices, enters processing data and simulates production process 

  • Operates work order related production program, checks results and corrects program if necessary 

  • Controls and documents work order progress, problems, machine time, materials used and may oversee activities of auxiliary personnel 

  • May carry out minor maintenance work, or cooperates with maintenance to identify and to resolve failures 

  • Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times 

Your Qualifications

 

Required: 

 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent 

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English 

  • Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment 

  • Good visual acuity 

  • Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required 

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship 

 

 

Preferred: 

 

  • Multiple years of experience operating and programming complex machines in a manufacturing environment 

  • Experience working with power tools 

  • Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
